Gold Coast Band Fest. Proudly supported by the Gold Coast City Council  For community and school bands, all music is own choice. In conjunction with the Queensland Band Association The Queensland Band Championships Queen's Birthday weekend, 11th - 14th June 2010 For soloist, duets etc as well as community and school bands, both concert and marching; brass bands, woodwind bands, military bands and drum corps. If sufficient interest exists a pipe band event will be included. In 2010 the Band Fest will be held in conjunction with the Queensland Band Association's annual state championship. Events will be held in accordance with the QBA competition rules for its members however there will also be events for non QBA members. QBA members may participate in all events if desired.
