 100^th Anniversary of Manly State School – the school is planning a series of activities throughout the year :

• June - A colonial classroom will be set up in the school with students experiencing school conditions in the early 1900's.

• July - The new and refurbished school buildings will be officially opened with a morning tea.  The final date is dependent upon building completion.

• Sunday, 24 October - "Centenary Fete" will be held at the school with old-time fun rides, food stalls and activities for the whole family.

• October/November - "Music on the Meadows" will be the closing event for the year featuring a family picnic-style musical evening.
