News - "Queensland Gamming Community Benefit Fund" has made a grant to QSHBA of $30,000.00 - click here for more details.

Our Mission

· To form a band or bands of musicians, at least one of which will be a youth band.

· To provide a band or bands which, as well as operating in a community environment, will also have a focus on our military heritage and therefore support other service focused organizations.

· To manage, provide developmental logistical support and maintenance of these Bands so formed.

· Provide, through a learners’ programme, opportunities for unskilled persons to learn to play musical instruments supported by the association.

QUEENSLAND MOUNTED INFANTRY HISTORICAL TROOP BAND (QMIHTB)                                                            Click here for more info	A community based brass band with both a traditional and contemporary music repertoire. The Band also supports the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop where possible.
